For most heavy-duty truck tarp applications, our production relies on robust 18 oz vinyl-coated fabric. Individual vinyl panels are assembled using hot-air welding. This fusion method creates high-tensile, fully watertight seams, enabling us to fabricate finished tarps with precise dimensions to fully secure and shield cargo during transit.
Manufacturing Technique
Every tarp edge is reinforced with 2-inch heavy-duty webbing. This perimeter reinforcement protects the tarp from abrasion and tearing caused by strong highway winds, while delivering stable structural support when fastening the tarp to trailers.
With decades of hands-on expertise in truck tarp fabrication, we recognize that cargo sizes differ significantly between hauling jobs. Our lumber and steel haul tarps are fitted with multiple anchor points compatible with ropes or rubber tie-down straps. We offer flexible custom configurations to align with your daily operational needs.
Our D-rings are stainless steel. Each D-ring is mounted onto high-strength webbing tabs, then embedded and double-stitched underneath the top-load webbing. This construction delivers extremely durable anchor points distributed across the tarp surface.
Product Parameters
Grommets are another common fastening hardware widely used for truck tarps. We offer brass grommets in standard 2-inch sizes.
These premium brass grommets are mechanically crimped onto tarp fabric using a hydraulic grommet press. Every grommet location is backed with a double-layer vinyl reinforcement patch. This design creates a four-ply vinyl composite at each grommet hole, delivering exceptional long-term durability under real-world load and tension during hauling operations.
